Ilustra\u00e7\u00e3o: Marcelo Jean Machado.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Gisela nasceu em 28 de outubro de 1926<strong> <\/strong>na<strong> Alemanha<\/strong>. Graduou-se em <strong>f\u00edsica<\/strong> na Universidade de Johann Wolfgang Goethe em 1952 e depois, em 1958, recebeu sou doutorado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sua carreira come\u00e7ou quando ela e o marido (tamb\u00e9m com um doutorado em f\u00edsica) foram para os <strong>Estados Unidos<\/strong> onde seu primeiro emprego na \u00e1rea foi no Grupo RCA (Radio Corporation of America), um grande grupo de eletr\u00f4nicos dos Estados Unidos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Depois foi trabalhar no laborat\u00f3rio de semicondutores de Princeton, em Somerville, onde tinha um sal\u00e1rio relativamente baixo.
